About Us

Alocasia Stud Farm although completely fictional has been handed down through 3 generations of the Barber family. Today the stud is primarily run by Mick and Hila in close association with their life long friend and fellow Wessex Saddleback fanatic Jake Gowans. The Property is located 50 km east of Toowoomba in the Lockyer Valley. With over 22 acres of beautiful eucalyptus studded pastoral land the property makes an ideal home for our premium herd. When not feeding swine, Mick and Jake are designing websites for studs and breeders.
